Hi, I’m Kim Bowman and I’m a teacher who specializes in helping adult multilingual learners improve their English. I’m based in Los Angeles, California, in the United States, but I help learners online, all over the world. 

My new podcast will include lots of helpful tips for beginning, intermediate, and advanced English learners who want to be able to communicate clearly with other English users in the U.S., whether at school, at work, or in everyday life situations. 

Each episode includes authentic conversations and scenarios to help you understand not only the language but also American culture. You’re going to hear a wide variety of accents, like those you hear in the U.S., as well as a vast range of different communication styles. 

There will be corresponding YouTube videos for every episode with detailed explanations about the conversation you’re going to hear.

A few tips I want to share with you for making the most of your listening experience:

1) Adjust the speed of each episode as you listen. If the speakers are talking too fast, slow them down!

2) Rewind and listen more than once. Repeated listening, especially to conversation scenarios, will help you better understand what you’re hearing.

3) Make sure you watch the corresponding YouTube videos for every episode!

4) Subscribe to the podcast through your favorite podcast platform, this way you won’t miss any episodes!
